Dr. Vincent A. Schembari is a 1989 graduate of the Georgetown University School of Dentistry, Washington, D.C. where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a post-graduate program in Advanced General Dentistry at Prince George’s Hospital Center, Cheverly, Maryland. Dr. Schembari has practiced dentistry in Laurel since 1993. He lives in Laurel with his wife and three boys. He frequently attends continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest techniques in his profession. He is gentle and kind and children especially love to visit him because he makes it “fun”. Adults love him, too, because he “explains things in easy to understand terms.”

Dr. Schembari is a professional member of the American Dental Assoc. the Maryland State Dental Assoc., the Howard County Dental Soc., He is a business member of the Baltimore/Washington Corridor Chamber of Commerce (BWCC). Dr. Schembari was awarded the 1998 Small Business of the Year Award from the BWCC. He served on the Board of Directors for the BWCC (1996-99).

He is also a member of the Laurel Lions Club, the Patuxent Council of the Knights of Columbus, and the Sons of Italy (Antonio Gatto Lodge).

Dr. Maria Wright received her dental training from the University of Maryland after earning her bachelor degree from the University of Virginia.  Prior to entering private practice, she served a general practice residency at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Wright has completed numerous hours of continuing education including Invisalign, laser dentistry, and Lumineers. 

As a native Washingtonian, she volunteers a lot of her time in the local school systems promoting oral health and mouthguard safety to prevent sport related concussions. Her past and present affiliations include the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Academy of General Dentistry, the premier association for continuing education in dentistry.

Outside the professional realm, Dr. Wright loves traveling and spending time with her family.
